Aldi produce picks of the week 1/16/13-1/22/13

If you are new to Aldi - here is some information you might want to know before shopping there.  

It is another awesome week at Aldi!

• Onions - $.99 per 3lb bag (I think this is their everyday low price, but did you notice that at Marc's the onions come in 2lb bags making Aldi price better even when onions go on sale for $.89 at Marc's)
• Mushrooms - $.79 per 8oz pkg - Mushrooms have not gone on sale at Aldi for some time. They usually go as low as $.49 per package but I will pick up a few at this price. 
• Red Potatoes - $.99 per 5lb bag - This is exciting! Red potatoes are awesome and this price is awesome too!
• Grapefruit - $1.99 per 5lb bag - There is a $2 off coupon here that can be used at Walmart when you price-match Aldi price to get 5lbs of Grapefruits for FREE!!!  
• Pears - $.69 per lb - sold in a 2lb bag for $1.38. Great Price!
• Cantaloupe - $.99 each - Great Price as well!
