Real Cheap Ciao Bella Sorbet, Gelato or Frozen Greek Yogurt at Whole Foods

Guest Post - by Mr. Cravin' For Savin'

Ciao Bella Sorbet is delicious and Kosher too (please check individual items for Hechsher). But, it is usually a bit expensive at $5.19 for a single pint at my local Whole Foods. Ciao Bella Sorbet (which is OU Pareve) makes some really bold flavors, like Blackberry Cabernet  Blood Orange, and Lemon Zest.

It is currently (and until 1/15/13) only $2.49 a pint! A few weeks ago, I noticed that Whole Foods had a $1 off coupon in the Whole Deal (Whole Foods' store monthly coupon book (also available in the Whole Deal booklet in the stores)).* This week I noticed that some varieties of Ciao Bella Sorbet/Gelato/Frozen Greek Yogurt are on sale for $4.49 (until 1/15/13) and I remembered that there was a $1 off Whole Deal Coupon. So, I did some research and I discovered that there was also a Manufacturer's Coupon for an additional $1 off.

So now it is $4.49 -$2 off ($1 store and $1 manufacturer coupons) = $2.49 for a pint, a very reasonable price for a great sorbet.

Recap:

Sale Price: $4.49 (through 1/15/13)

Minus: $1.00 off (from Whole Deal store coupon (also available in the Whole Deal booklet in the stores))

Minus: $1.00 off (from Manufacturer Ciao Bella )**

Total: $2.49

* Whole Foods allows a customer to use 1 manufacturer's coupon and 1 store coupon per each item purchased. At our Whole Foods location, they are really excited when we use coupons and cheer us on. Whole Foods produces a monthly coupon booklet called The Whole Deal, which is available online and in a hard copy at individual stores.

**There is no size restriction on the manufacturer coupon for the Ciao Bella coupon. There are small 3.5oz. containers that you can try to use the coupon on to get another sweet deal.
