UPDATE: I did not notice but the sugar that is on sale this week at Giant Eagle is a 4lb bag not a 5lb bag. :(
Tuesday is always an exciting day for me because we get the Red Plum Coupon Insert dropped at our door for free with other upcoming weekly circulars as well... I quickly look through it to see if its a "good" insert and then try to come up with deals that are going on now and deals that might come up to make an awesome deal.
I noticed this week's insert dated (you can see the date on the spine of the coupon insert) 9/16/12 (which is Sunday, we get the coupon insert for the upcoming Sunday early - like when you get the WSJ weekend paper on Saturday with a smart source coupon insert in it) with lots of high value coupons and possibly good deals. For example:
We got a few P&G coupons including $3 off One Gillete Disposable Razor,
We got a few Target coupons in the insert as well,
We got a coupon I was waiting for for a while - $.50 off 1 Newman's Own Pasta Sauce (there are some organic sauces and most of them are kosher) which goes on sale on occasion at Giant Eagle for $2.00 after doubling coupons the Pasta Sauce is $1.00!
We got some Centrum coupons which we can use this week at CVS for the Centrum Flavor Burst Chews (I am not sure the kosher status of this product) but I noticed they are priced on sale this week for $6.99 and I received a $5.00 coupon from the magic coupon machine, if I combine it with the $2.00 coupon found here it comes out to be FREE
And one of the last coupons in the inset that I will be going out to use today is the $.75 off 2 Domino Sugar product 2lb or larger.
